BSPT Solid Plug Galvanised fittings are designed to securely seal BSPT threaded female ports and fittings, providing a reliable leak-resistant closure for water, compressed air, gas and industrial pipework systems. Available in sizes from 1/4″ to 4″, these solid plugs are ideal for blanking off unused outlets during installation, maintenance or permanent system modifications.
Manufactured from high-quality malleable iron, these fittings feature a hot-dip galvanised zinc coating for excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding environments. Manufactured with BSPT threads to ISO 7-1 and EN10226-2, they are tested in accordance with BS EN10241:2000, BS EN1562 and BS EN10242 standards. Suitable for water, steam, compressed air, gas and other non-aggressive media, these fittings are rated to a maximum working pressure of 25 bar with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +120°C. WRAS Approved and suitable for above-ground pipework and fire protection sprinkler systems, they provide dependable performance for commercial and industrial installations.
